Working as principal contractor for Menarys, GEM was appointed to oversee the complete fit out of Menarys’ new Ballymena store.
The project involved stripping out the old retail unit followed by the completion of all flooring, ceiling, decoration and joinery work, which included constructing and fitting out cash desks, fitting doors and frames and installing mid-floor and perimeter merchandising systems. In addition, GEM also carried out electrical and mechanical installation.
Working closely with Menarys, which provided its own merchandising kit, GEM managed the swift fit-out job and followed clear client, design and branding specifications. The team were also quick to react and meet all client amendments in an efficient manner.
The brand- new store was completed on schedule within four weeks, to ensure the store could be opened and operating in November to maximise the Christmas trading period.
